Supercomputing

FCSCL infrastructures must be appropriate to its mission: “Managing infrastructures based on information and communication technologies –e-infrastructures- for providing services to public research institutions, companies and organisms, impelling scientific cooperation and the use of common infrastructures, acting as a center of services for advanced computing and communications in Castile and León and promoting the development of science and technology transfer”. But  besides doing the calling is taking a leadership role in energy efficiency.

Therefore, FCSCL has designed its system with a very low PUE (Power Usage Efectiveness), and marked the line is being followed in other Supercomputing Centers in Spain and Europe.
